Lydiate residents have come together and formed this group to oppose any more large housing estates being built on high grade agricultural land in Lydiate. After hearing about the following application in May 2023, many residents decided to form this group . This website will be updated with the latest developments.
May 2023
Lydiate Parish Council (LPC) opposed an application from housing developer Macktaggert and Mickel (Mac/Mic)to make a presentation to residents about building houses on land at Liverpool Road, Lydiate. known as MN8.1 on the Sefton Local Plan (SLP) map and LNP. Hou2 on the Lydiate Parish Council Neighbourhood plan .

The facebook group has over 600 supportive members.
